Each Preciously Paris clutch is born from a multitude of sketches, mood boards and searches for colours and materials inspired by founder Carole Tessier's global interior and architectural projects.
The uber-playful designs are embroidered by the company's skilled team of art embroiders at its Parisian workshops. Each embroiderer is a master of their craft, using traditional techniques such as Lunéville Crochet or the application of gold threads —hence, each embroidered panel requires 20-30 hours to complete. A single craftsman then shapes it by hand into a bag and sets it in its custom-made, numbered box.
"I feel a profound connection with French art de vivre,” says Carole Tessier. "The craftsmanship that is ever present in Paris is a constant source of wonder — it's a priceless treasure."
Tessier personally inspects every handbag throughly before sending it to one of her jet-setting clients around the world.
